Description:

Progressive Insurance is seeking a creative and talented Junior Copywriter to join Ninety6, its in-house creative agency. This remote opportunity is ideal for a skilled writer who can transform strategic ideas into engaging content across marketing, advertising, customer communications, and employee-facing materials.

The successful candidate will collaborate with creative directors, designers, marketers, and other cross-functional teams to develop impactful content while maintaining brand voice and messaging standards. The role offers the opportunity to create content across email, direct mail, blogs, landing pages, digital campaigns, social media, and other communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop compelling copy for marketing campaigns, customer communications, and internal communications.

• Translate strategic briefs into clear, engaging, and audience-focused content.

• Create short-form and long-form content including emails, blogs, landing pages, social media, and digital materials.

• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, producers, marketers, and other stakeholders.

• Adapt writing style and tone based on audience, platform, and business objectives.

• Support brand storytelling while balancing creative concepts with performance-driven messaging.

• Present creative ideas and contribute to content strategy discussions.

• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and consistency.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of professional copywriting experience in an advertising or marketing agency.

OR

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Journalism, English, Advertising, Liberal Arts, Humanities, or a related field with at least 3 years of professional copywriting experience.

• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.

• Experience creating content across digital, email, direct mail, and social media channels.

• Ability to adjust tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple assignments.

• Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating copywriting experience is required.

• Strong knowledge of:
