Steno is seeking an organized and detail-focused eFiling Specialist to join its remote Litigation Support team. The company is transforming the legal technology industry by providing modern court reporting solutions and technology-driven services that help law firms manage complex workflows more efficiently.

The successful candidate will manage electronic filing processes from start to finish, ensuring court documents are accurately prepared, submitted, tracked, and completed within required deadlines. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete eFiling process with accuracy and accountability.

• Review, prepare, submit, and track legal filings while ensuring deadlines are met.

• Monitor client orders and ensure filing requirements are completed successfully.

• Prevent filing rejections by reviewing documents and resolving potential issues.

• Handle urgent filing requests and apply problem-solving skills to workflow challenges.

• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout the filing process.

• Use various eFiling platforms and legal technology tools to complete assignments.

• Manage multiple projects, track service-level agreements (SLAs), and maintain accurate records.

• Follow established procedures while continuously improving workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience in legal services, litigation support, attorney services, or related fields.

• Familiarity with legal document preparation and court filing procedures.

• Experience using eFiling portals, Legal CMS platforms, or legal support systems is preferred.

• Knowledge of California or multi-state eFiling service portals is an advantage.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and adapt to new tools and processes.

• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Legal document preparation and court filing workflows.

• eFiling platforms such as Journal Tech, Tyler Odyssey, LegalConnect, GreenFiling, and Legal CMS.

• Litigation support operations and client service processes.
