Protege is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Chief Scientific Officer and additional executives as business needs evolve. This role requires someone who can operate in a fast-paced environment, understand complex priorities, manage executive workflows, and proactively provide support that helps leaders stay focused on high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary Executive Assistant to the Chief Scientific Officer while supporting additional executives when required.

• Build a strong understanding of executive priorities, projects, and business activities to provide proactive support.

• Manage complex calendars across multiple time zones while balancing priorities and scheduling requirements.

• Review incoming requests, identify urgent matters, and determine appropriate actions such as scheduling, redirecting, or escalating.

• Anticipate executive needs by protecting focus time, coordinating stakeholders, and identifying potential challenges early.

• Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, transportation, visas, and detailed itineraries.

• Provide occasional personal assistant support with complete discretion and confidentiality.

• Collaborate with the Executive Assistant and Chief of Staff to the CEO on leadership schedules, meetings, and shared priorities.

• Support company projects, People initiatives, and organizational events as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience supporting senior leaders in a high-growth, startup, or fast-paced environment.

• Experience working within AI, data, technology, scientific, research, product, or similar industries is strongly preferred.

• Strong ability to understand complex business topics and connect information across discussions.

• Comfortable using AI tools to improve workflows, summarize information, and increase productivity.

• Proactive mindset with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure with changing priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
