Description:

We are looking for a highly competent Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong UAE accounting experience and the ability to independently manage complete finance operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

The successful candidate will handle end-to-end accounting functions, lead accounting team activities, manage financial closing processes, and support reporting requirements. This role requires strong knowledge of UAE VAT, payroll, financial reporting, and ERP systems.

The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Finance Controller and play a key role in maintaining financial control and supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations and daily finance activities.

• Lead and mentor accounting team members to ensure smooth workflow.

• Independently handle month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Manage VAT calculations, filings, and compliance requirements.

• Handle banking activities and treasury management.

• Process payroll and ensure statutory compliance.

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

• Maintain General Ledger accuracy and perform account reconciliations.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Prepare financial reports and coordinate with the Finance Controller.

Requirements:

• M.Com with 5–10 years of relevant experience OR CA Inter with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

• Mandatory UAE accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of VAT, payroll, financial reporting, and ERP systems.

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a finance team.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong knowledge of:

• UAE accounting practices and VAT compliance.

• Financial reporting and month-end closing procedures.

• ERP-based accounting systems and financial controls.
