Description:

Shati Chemicals is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to become part of its growing team. This full-time position is ideal for a finance professional who can independently oversee complete accounting operations while ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s financial processes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing daily accounting activities, maintaining financial compliance, supporting budgeting and cash flow management, and providing valuable financial insights to management. Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Process payroll accurately and handle employee reimbursement transactions.

• Monitor cash flow while supporting budgeting and financial planning activities.

• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions regarding credit facilities and maintain professional relationships.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and internal accounting controls.

• Prepare financial reports, provide recommendations, and support management with business insights.

• Work closely with external auditors during monthly and annual audit processes.

• Supervise and guide accounting assistants or bookkeepers where required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of GCC experience in a similar accounting position.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• CMA (USA) qualification will be considered an advantage.

• Female candidates are preferred, with preference given to Filipina applicants.

• Applicants should be 40 years of age or below.

• Stable employment history with at least 2 years in each previous position is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Full-cycle (A–Z) accounting operations

• Payroll processing, budgeting, and cash flow management

• Financial reporting, audits, and UAE accounting compliance
