Description:

Nokione is urgently seeking an experienced Accountant to join its team in JAFZA, Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on accounting experience, excellent knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, and the ability to independently manage accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision.

This role is best suited for professionals who can quickly understand business operations and contribute from day one. Due to the fast-paced working environment, applicants must possess practical experience and should be ready to handle responsibilities without extensive training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day general accounting activities.

• Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Perform account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and Designated Free Zone VAT procedures.

• Work independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with SOP Accounting Software.

• Excellent knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.

• Strong understanding of Designated Free Zone VAT procedures, including JAFZA.

• Solid experience in General Accounting, Financial Reporting, Reconciliations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Month-End Closing.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and training.

• UAE accounting experience is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of:

• SOP Accounting Software.

• UAE VAT Regulations.

• Designated Free Zone VAT Procedures.

Interview Process:

• Practical assessment using SOP Accounting Software.

• Technical interview with the Chief Accountant.

• Evaluation of UAE VAT and Designated Free Zone VAT knowledge.
