Description:

CRCEG Middle East Contracting is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its Dubai team. This is an excellent opportunity for finance professionals who have experience in the construction industry and are looking to grow their careers within a multinational organization operating across the Middle East.

The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and support budgeting and closing processes. The role also requires close collaboration with internal departments while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger entries.

• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and account reconciliations.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Coordinate internal and external audit requirements.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and local regulations.

• Work closely with internal departments to resolve financial queries and improve reporting processes.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of accounting experience within the construction industry.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA will be an advantage.

• Strong experience with general ledger management and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience working in a multicultural or international business environment is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of:

 • Financial reporting and account reconciliation

 • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

 • Accounting standards, internal controls, and audit processes

 • Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and financial models
