Insights Analyst, Mobile Analytics

Responsibilities
- Support product analytics needs for the NPR App, site, and video
- Develop and manage measurement plans using Google Tag Manager
- Write SQL queries to provide performance analytics across datasets
- Maintain relationships with Product stakeholders to support daily analytics needs
- Partner with Data Products on dashboard and tool design
- Support diagnosing and resolving data issues
- Streamline scheduled queries and data infrastructure
- Write documentation for app, video, and website analytics
Requirements
- 2+ years expertise in SQL and databases
- Experience in BigQuery and/or Dataform
- 2+ years expertise in Google Firebase and app analytics
- Expertise with GA4 or similar large digital behavior datasets
- 2+ years experience with Google Tag Manager measurement plans and QC
- Experience in Looker
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets with complex formulas
- Understanding of data tracking life cycles across digital platforms
- Experience collaborating with technical teams on digital product measurement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in news media
- Experience building statistical models using R or Python
- Experience identifying complex analytical issues requiring cross-functional collaboration
