Senior Insights Analyst, Mobile Analytics

Responsibilities
- Drive critical insights for the app product team by assessing audience behavior and running experiments
- Create and own the experimentation process on owned and operated platforms
- Provide actionable recommendations through foundational trend reporting and deep analyses
- Write and implement complex SQL queries for performance analytics across app, video, and website datasets
- Train internal teams on how to use data, tools, and resources for decision-making
- Anticipate business needs through stakeholder cultivation and research tool development
- Proactively communicate relevant insights to cultivate a learning culture
Requirements
- 5+ years of expertise in SQL and databases
- 5+ years of expertise in Google Firebase data and app analytics
- 5+ years of expertise with GA4 or similar large digital behavior datasets
- 5+ years of experience in Optimizely or comparable experimentation tools
- Expert proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets including complex formulas and automated reporting
- Strong skills in data visualization and explaining quantitative information to non-technical audiences
- Excellent experimental design and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in news media
- Experience building statistical models using R or Python
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration to solve complex analytical problems
