Description:

Plan A Events and Organizers LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Accountant to become part of its Accounts team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with practical accounting experience and strong proficiency in Tally who can efficiently manage daily financial records.

The selected candidate will support routine accounting operations, maintain accurate financial data, assist with reconciliations, and work closely with the Accounts Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day accounting activities. Candidates who can join immediately or within one week will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and maintain daily accounting transactions using Tally.

• Update and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) records.

• Record purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal entries accurately.

• Verify invoices, bills, receipts, and supporting documentation.

• Maintain accurate customer and supplier account records.

• Assist with account reconciliations and routine financial reports.

• Ensure all accounting transactions are properly classified and recorded.

• Provide day-to-day accounting support to the Accounts Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.

• Strong practical knowledge of Tally.

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.

• Familiarity with AP, AR, debit and credit entries, invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Candidates available to join within one week are preferred.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Tally accounting software.

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.

• Microsoft Excel and financial data entry.

• Other ERP systems and willingness to learn Zoho ERP will be an added advantage.
