Description:

A company based in Ras Al Khaimah Free Zone is seeking an experienced General Accountant to join its finance team immediately. The ideal candidate will have extensive UAE accounting experience and a strong understanding of financial operations, payroll administration, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.

This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, vendor payments, bank transactions, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting functions across the organization.

Applicants must currently be based in the UAE and possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Candidates available for immediate joining and holding either a visit visa or cancelled residence visa will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable processes, including supplier invoice verification and payment processing.

• Perform vendor account reconciliations and maintain accurate supplier records.

• Process payroll, WPS transactions, employee benefits, leave salaries, gratuity calculations, and final settlements.

• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

• Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports.

• Monitor cash flow and oversee bank transfers and banking transactions.

• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure financial data accuracy.

• Support compliance with company policies and UAE regulatory requirements.

• Assist with day-to-day accounting and finance operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in General Accounting.

• Strong experience in Accounts Payable and supplier payment processes.

• Hands-on experience with Payroll Processing and WPS administration.

• Knowledge of employee benefits, leave salary calculations, gratuity, and final settlements.

• Ability to prepare monthly financial statements and reports.

• Strong understanding of cash flow management and banking transactions.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Must currently be residing in the UAE.

• Only Visit Visa or Cancelled Residence Visa holders will be considered.

• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
