Description:

Civic Builders is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Document Controller to join its construction team in Sharjah. This full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals with UAE construction experience who can effectively manage health, safety, and environmental documentation while ensuring compliance across active project sites. Immediate joiners are preferred.

The successful candidate will oversee document control processes, maintain HSE records, prepare compliance reports, and ensure all project documentation is accurate, organized, and audit-ready. Candidates with strong technical documentation skills and experience using electronic document management systems will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and SOR (Safety Observation Report) registers and ensure timely closure.

• Prepare, track, and submit daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports, safe man-hours statistics, and incident records.

• Manage document control, version control, and archiving of Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RAMS), Permit to Work (PTW) records, and safety campaign documentation.

• Maintain records of safety inductions, training sessions, third-party inspection certificates, and plant and machinery certifications.

• Ensure all HSE documentation is accurate, audit-ready, and compliant with client, consultant, and company requirements.

• Coordinate with project teams to maintain organized and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• University Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• NEBOSH IGC or an equivalent recognized HSE certification.

• Minimum 2–3 years of UAE construction site experience as a Document Controller.

• Hands-on experience managing NCRs, SORs, corrective action plans, and closure procedures.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using document management systems such as Aconex, Procore, or similar EDMS platforms.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Immediate joiners are preferred.
