Description:

Joga Ram General Trading L.L.C is currently seeking an experienced General Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This is an immediate full-time opportunity for a motivated accounting professional with hands-on experience in accounts payable and financial operations.

The selected candidate will oversee supplier payments, maintain vendor relationships, and manage accounts payable activities across the company’s Construction, Interior Fit-Out, Manufacturing, Trading, and Real Estate divisions. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete accounts payable cycle across multiple companies and branch locations.

• Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, and supporting documentation.

• Prepare payment schedules and ensure payments are processed within agreed credit terms.

• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate payment discrepancies.

• Process advance payments, retention payments, and subcontractor payments.

• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and prepare MIS reports.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and support internal and external audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

• 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.

• Previous experience in Construction, Interior Fit-Out, Manufacturing, or Trading industries is preferred.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong knowledge of VAT compliance and financial regulations.

Strong knowledge of:

• Accounts Payable processes and vendor management.

• ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

• VAT compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
