Description:

Design Seventy Three is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai South. The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, invoicing, payment reconciliation, collections, financial reporting, and retail and e-commerce accounting activities.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in retail, distribution, or e-commerce accounting who are familiar with online marketplaces such as Amazon, Noon, and Shopify. The candidate will also assist with VAT and Corporate Tax compliance while ensuring accurate financial records and timely reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting entries and financial transactions.

• Prepare proforma invoices, sales invoices, and billing documents for retail and e-commerce operations.

• Follow up on customer collections and outstanding payments.

• Perform customer, vendor, bank, account, payment, and stock reconciliations.

• Reconcile marketplace transactions from Amazon, Noon, Shopify, and similar platforms.

• Maintain records of sales, returns, credit notes, and financial adjustments.

• Support month-end closing activities and day-to-day accounting operations.

• Assist with VAT and Corporate Tax return preparation and filing.

• Record and reconcile vendor invoices within the ERP system.

• Prepare financial reports and assist with additional finance-related tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, distribution, or general trading.

• Experience working with Amazon, Noon, Shopify, or similar online marketplaces.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

• Tally Prime experience is required.

• Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Logistics knowledge will be an added advantage.

• UAE accounting experience and knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax will be an advantage.

• Bank, customer, vendor, and inventory reconciliation
