Description:

PAL Group is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting and tax requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience with accounting software, and the ability to support financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and internal control improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Manage general ledger accounting and ensure accurate journal entries.

• Perform bank, balance sheet, intercompany, and other account reconciliations.

• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

• Support internal and external audit activities.

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.

• Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.

• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Tax, and other departments for smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3–4 years of UAE accounting experience.

• Proficiency in accounting software.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Good understanding of UAE accounting and tax regulations.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Financial reporting and general ledger accounting

• AP/AR management and account reconciliation

• UAE accounting standards and tax compliance
