Description:
Martin Retail Group is seeking an entry-level Account Coordinator to support its South Central Region office in Irving, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to begin their career in marketing, advertising, and client account management while gaining exposure to automotive retail marketing operations.
The selected candidate will assist with daily office management, client support activities, reporting, and marketing coordination tasks. This role provides an opportunity to develop industry knowledge, contribute to client projects, and grow toward future account management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support regional and Local Marketing Association (LMA) activities based on weekly business requirements.
• Collect, organize, and analyze client and competitor data to support marketing initiatives.
• Assist with securing client approvals for media and production estimates.
• Maintain organized records for GM incentive programs, sales materials, media schedules, commercials, catalogs, product information, and related documents.
• Support marketing plan development and gain exposure to the planning process.
• Track internal reports, performance metrics, and business activities.
• Manage office calendars, schedule meetings, and provide administrative support.
• Maintain office supplies and ensure smooth daily office operations.
• Receive training to provide backup support for Account Executive responsibilities and future career growth.
• Develop strong knowledge of client businesses, products, and marketing strategies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or 4-year degree in a related field.
• 0–1 years of agency, marketing, or related business experience.
• Previous internship or temporary work experience in a related field is beneficial.
• Experience with media, traffic coordination, or marketing operations is a plus.
• Excellent computer and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Marketing coordination and client account support
• Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Data tracking, reporting, and administrative operations
