Description:

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Process Coordinator to support insurance administration and claims management operations. The company operates a large network of automotive service locations across the United States and is focused on delivering efficient service through strong operational processes.

The successful candidate will manage insurance claims from initial review through resolution, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, maintain accurate documentation, and support incident reporting processes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple claims and follow-ups effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review incoming insurance claims and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and required follow-up.

• Coordinate with store managers, district managers, market directors, vendors, and internal teams to collect missing information and resolve claim-related issues.

• Manage claims throughout the complete lifecycle, including tracking updates, documentation, vendor responses, and resolution progress.

• Communicate with insurance carriers, adjusters, third-party administrators, repair vendors, and other external partners.

• Maintain accurate claim records, including status updates, costs, action items, and resolution notes.

• Escalate complex, high-value, sensitive, or litigated claims to appropriate stakeholders.

• Update and maintain incident and claim information through EHS Insight and related systems.

• Support reporting activities related to incidents, claims trends, costs, and performance metrics.

• Manage insurance documentation, certificates of insurance, policy records, and claim files.

• Monitor and organize shared claims and insurance email inboxes, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, Compliance, Mechanical Background, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance claims, claims administration, compliance support, risk management support, or related roles.

• Experience with incident reporting systems, claims management platforms, EHS Insight, or similar tools preferred.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple claims, deadlines, and priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and shared inbox management.

• Ability to handle confidential claim and incident information professionally.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and drive solutions.
