Responsible for supervising the work of the InformationTechnology Department , developing general policies and strategies forinformation technology and technology, providing the necessary technicalsupport to develop performance, applying the best technical and technicalsolutions in all areas and activities of the Academy in cooperation withinternal and external stakeholders, and using the latest applications andsystems in the field of information security and protection policies, inaddition to providing technical support and technical solutions to meet theneeds of the Academy and achieve its goals.

Requirements

• Setting the objectives, initiatives andoperational plans of the Information Technology Department and its indicatorsand working to measure and follow them up continuously.
• Contribute to achieving the main objectives ofthe information technology department and directing the team towards achievingits goals and improving the level of services it provides in terms of quality,accuracy and effectiveness.
• Participate in the development of processes andprocedures followed in the management of information technology and ensure thatall policies, procedures and work systems followed are documented and adheredto.
• Monitor the performance of the InformationTechnology Department against the previously set performance targets in orderto ensure that the work is moving towards the desired direction and thatcorrective and preventive actions have been taken as required.
• Preparing the annual budget for the managementand control of information technology and ensuring compliance with it.
• Manage the Academy's IT infrastructure, includingservers, networks, computers and software systems, to ensure theiravailability, reliability and security.
• Evaluate innovative solutions and market trendsand evaluate new infrastructure technologies, tools , and product and serviceproviders to provide high-quality IT products and services.
• Managingthe process of designing, building and organizing the infrastructure ofthe Academy's systems and applications and ensuring their maintenance andintegration in a way that facilitates the smooth and effective transfer of dataand operations.
• Managing the development of systems andapplications for all organizational units of the Academy to enable dailyoperations and public services.
• Ensure that direct support is provided to allemployees in the Academy regarding electronic devices, systems and equipment toenable business continuity.
• Engage and coordinate with IT suppliers andnegotiate contracts to ensure that high quality IT products and services aredelivered and comply with mutually agreed terms.
• Manage IT projects, including softwareimplementation, system upgrades, and infrastructure enhancement.
• Monitor the progress of IT projects and ensurethat project progress conforms to thespecified standards and scope to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor day-to-day IT practices to ensure thatthe application software and systems that support the Academy's operations and operations are effectively maintained.
• Develop operating plans, including thedepartment's financial budget, to ensure that all operations fit into theapproved budget of the department.
• Direct the planning and implementation of systemupgrades and updates to keep the Academy's IT architecture up to date and secure. This includesmonitoring system performance, identifying areas that need improvement, andimplementing necessary changes.
• Monitor collaboration with internal stakeholdersto understand their requirements and ensure that IT services meet theirrequirements and provide support effectively and in a timely manner.
• Design and implement security measures andprotocols to reduce IT risks and protect the Academy's IT and data systemsfrom unauthorized access, security breachesand cyber threats.
• Design and develop disaster preparednesspractices, technical support and technical assistance to Academy staff, ensuringthat all IT-related issues are addressed and resolved and hardware and softwareproblems are fixed.
