Document Controller

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Document Controller to join our site team in Dubai. You will play a crucial role in managing and controlling project documentation for our construction and engineering initiatives.

• Manage and maintain project documents using the document management system
• Ensure all project documentation is properly filed indexed and easily retrievable
• Review incoming and outgoing documents for completeness and accuracy
• Coordinate document distribution to relevant project stakeholders
• Track document revisions and maintain version control
• Generate regular reports on document status and project progress
• Assist in the development and implementation of document control procedures
• Liaise with project teams to ensure timely submission and processing of documents
• Provide training and support to team members on document control processes
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive project information

Qualifications :

• Proficiency in document management system
• Minimum 8 years of experience.  
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent organizational and filing skills with a keen attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
• Previous experience in document control preferably in construction or engineering projects
• Experience with electronic document management systems
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Management or related field (preferred)
• Knowledge of construction or engineering project documentation processes
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to work
