Role Description
The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for driving business growth and brand visibility for Red Star Line Shipping and Cargo LLC.
Responsibilities
- identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, managing client relationships, and preparing proposals and quotations for shipping and logistics services.
- planning and executing marketing campaigns, maintaining digital and offline marketing materials, and supporting promotional initiatives to increase market presence.
- collaborate with internal teams to ensure service offerings meet customer needs, track and report on sales performance, and contribute to sales forecasts and market analysis.
- conducting client meetings, providing basic product and service training to partners or junior team members, and representing the company at industry events when required.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Proven experience in sales and sales management within shipping, logistics, or related industries.
- Ability to provide training and guidance to colleagues or partners on products, services, and sales processes.
- Solid understanding of marketing principles and techniques, including basic digital marketing and market research.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment in Dubai and Tehran and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
