Description:

CG Talents is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager / Controller on behalf of a leading luxury retail organization in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity to establish and lead a newly created local finance function while contributing to the company’s continued growth and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, tax compliance, and financial planning activities. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on financial management, offering the chance to build a high-performing finance team and support key business decisions from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and lead the company’s local finance function in Abu Dhabi.

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities.

• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance.

• Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, VAT requirements, and statutory obligations.

• Build, mentor, and manage a finance team while supporting business growth.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate general ledger records.

Requirements:

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.

• Strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), financial controls, and reporting.

• Hands-on experience with UAE taxation, VAT regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Previous experience in the luxury retail, retail, or travel industry is an advantage.

• Proficiency with SAP Business One and Microsoft Power BI.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work strategically and operationally.

Strong knowledge of:

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• UAE VAT, Taxation, and Regulatory Compliance

• SAP Business One and Microsoft Power BI
