We are seeking an experienced Captain for the Global 7500 to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Exercise ultimate authority over aircraft control (nautical authority).
• Maintain safety and order throughout the aircraft (board authority).
• Take necessary actions in emergencies as per circumstances (emergency authority).
• Assume full responsibility for aircraft safety, including passengers and cargo, once doors are closed.
• Report crew members who violate directives to superiors and communicate intentions to respective Crew Members (CMs) for corrective action.
• Be fully accountable for aircraft operation and safety from pre‑flight preparations to post‑flight shutdown.
• Organize flight deck team duties under the Multi Crew Concept, assigning Pilot Flying (PF) and Pilot Not Flying (PNF) roles.
• Ensure adherence to checklists and procedural requirements.
• Prioritize decisions with a focus on safety, while balancing considerations of efficiency, passenger comfort, and punctuality.
• Possess and apply route‑specific knowledge and qualifications for designated airports.
• Familiarize with and oversee all necessary documentation and information.
• Conduct flight and weather briefings, assess weather reports, and evaluate weather conditions.
• Monitor compliance with maximum allowable flight and duty times.
• Verify the presence and currency of required ship’s papers onboard.

Responsibilities:

• Report any findings and discrepancies identified.
• Ensure and sign off on aircraft airworthiness, required instrumentation and equipment, maintenance needs, mass and balance, and compliance with dangerous goods regulations.
• Exercise the authority to refuse transportation to individuals or items when necessary.
• Fulfill flight operational duties as specified in OM-A and OM-B.
• Contribute to the professional development and knowledge enhancement of the flight crew.
• Conduct briefings for cabin crew members.
• Assume responsibility for the well‑being and duties of care for the entire crew.
• Ensure the conduct and appearance of the crew, both towards passengers and in public, uphold the reputation and trust of DC Aviation Al Futtaim.
• Foster positive working relationships within the crew, ensuring effective communication and inclusive decision‑making.
• Delegate tasks to cockpit and cabin crew members as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid GCAA or ICAO CPL/IR license.
• Current Class Rating for the Global 7500 aircraft.
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Minimum flight experience of 1000 hours total time, with at least 500 hours on the Global 7500.
• In‑depth knowledge of international regulations governing commercial aircraft operations across diverse geographical regions, including over land and water.
• Proficiency in the English language.
