Responsibilities

• Act as an operational point of contact for originating customers, owning issue resolution from identification through closure
• Guide customers through the full loan lifecycle, providing direction on requirements, timelines, and disclosures
• Own the operational health of assigned loans to ensure files progress on schedule and close on time
• Independently evaluate loan scenarios to identify potential structural, disclosure, or compliance risks
• Partner with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure clean handoffs
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define requirements and improve automation based on real-world mortgage insights
• Maintain clear documentation of customer interactions and decisions

Requirements

• 7+ years of mortgage industry experience in processing, underwriting, or similar operational functions
• Direct experience managing loans from application through CTC and closing
• Hands‑on experience with mortgage disclosures (LEs, CDs) and strong knowledge of TRID timing and tolerance categories
• Ability to independently sanity-check loan structures, including LTV and product eligibility
• Prior experience serving as an escalation point for brokers, borrowers, or loan officers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving instincts
