Technical Support Officer

Connect IT is seeking a Technical Support Officer to provide hands-on IT support at a customer site in Dubai. This on-site position is suited to an experienced IT professional who can troubleshoot end-user issues, manage desktop environments, and deliver reliable technical assistance.

The successful candidate will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support across hardware, software, Windows systems, and IT infrastructure. The role will also involve IT asset management, incident handling through ITSM platforms, and regular reporting to the line manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L1 and L2 technical support for hardware, software, and end-user issues.

• Perform desktop administration, troubleshooting, and Windows support.

• Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently to minimize downtime.

• Manage IT assets and maintain accurate inventory records.

• Handle incidents and service requests through ITSM tools.

• Provide on-site technical assistance at the customer location.

• Prepare regular support reports and communicate updates to the line manager.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in IT Technical Support or Service Desk roles.

• Strong knowledge of Windows administration and desktop troubleshooting.

• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and IT infrastructure.

• Practical experience with ITSM tools and IT asset management.

• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, or Microsoft 365 Certified are preferred.

• Good communication skills in both English and Arabic.
