Responsibilities
- Develop and implement closing and post-closing workflows, SOPs, SLAs, checklists, and QC measures
- Oversee day-to-day operations with third-party fulfillment partners to ensure consistent loan delivery
- Define and monitor productivity standards and performance goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Conduct second-level reviews, handle exceptions, and manage escalations to ensure quality control
- Monitor and manage the pipeline, stepping in to troubleshoot and clear obstacles for seamless closings
- Collaborate with loan officers to identify and resolve closing or post-closing issues
- Act as a subject matter expert to aid decision-making and drive product improvement
- Provide technical and guideline training and recommend areas of improvement
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in closing and post-closing processes and managing teams
- Expertise in Conventional, Jumbo, NON-QM, and GOVT loan types across purchase and refinance
- Proven track record in developing workflows, training materials, SOPs, SLAs, and QC measures
- Proficiency in configuring closing and post-closing systems for efficiency and compliance
- Experience managing decentralized teams and strategic third-party fulfillment partners
- Experience in a fintech environment is strongly preferred
