Senior Settlement Operations Analyst

Responsibilities
- Lead investigations into complex settlement issues from intake through resolution
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, adjustments, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliation issues
- Analyze transaction data using dashboards, spreadsheets, SQL, and internal tools to identify root causes
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Engineering, Support, and Account Management
- Engage directly with merchants and external partners via email and Zoom to support resolution
- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and scale operational workflows
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate investigations and improve operational efficiency
- Support reconciliation, reporting, and audits
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in settlement operations, payments, fintech, or finance operations
- Exceptional analytical and investigative skills
- Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets
- SQL proficiency
- Experience using AI tools for data analysis and workflow automation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and operational judgment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Zendesk
- Experience with Metabase
- Experience with discount programs
