Ticketing Agent

A U.A.E .-based travel and tourism company in Dubai is inviting applications for the position of Ticketing Agent. The role involves handling flight reservations, ticket bookings, itinerary changes, and customer inquiries while providing efficient travel support.

Key Responsibilities
Handle flight reservations and ticket bookings.
Assist customers with travel schedules, fares, and available options.
Issue, reissue, cancel, and modify air tickets as required.
Prepare and provide travel itineraries and booking confirmations.
Handle customer inquiries through phone, email, and in person.
Coordinate with airlines and travel service providers.
Process refunds and ticket changes according to applicable policies.
Maintain accurate booking and customer records.
Provide information regarding baggage, check-in, flight timings, and travel requirements.
Follow airline and company procedures for ticketing and reservations.
Resolve booking-related issues and customer concerns promptly.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and travel information.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Aviation, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience as a Ticketing Agent, Reservation Agent, Travel Consultant, or similar role is an advantage.
Freshers with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
Knowledge of airline ticketing and reservation procedures.
Familiarity with GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is an advantage.
Good English communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer and MS Office knowledge.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple bookings.
UAE/GCC travel industry experience is an advantage.
