Field Engineer

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain satellite communication gateway infrastructure
- Diagnose and troubleshoot antennas, RF systems, frequency converters, and related hardware
- Perform testing, integration, commissioning, and validation of gateway components
- Monitor system health and support corrective actions to reduce disruptions
- Provide remote technical support to field locations and operations teams
- Document maintenance activities, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams
- Support inventory management, asset tracking, and travel for site work
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of experience in field engineering, satellite, network, or similar technical roles
- Experience with satellite communications infrastructure and RF systems
- Familiarity with antennas, frequency conversion equipment, and diagnostic tools
- Ability to use spectrum analyzers and related test equipment
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Ability to lift equipment and work in varying field conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Satellite communications certifications such as VSAT or SatCom
- Experience with geographically distributed or remote operational sites
- Knowledge of IP-based communications and telecommunications infrastructure
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
