Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Design detailed plans and blueprints for civil engineering projects.
- Oversee and direct construction operations and maintenance activities.
- Conduct technical assessments to determine project feasibility and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Analyze survey reports and data to plan projects accordingly.
- Consult with clients, contractors, and stakeholders regarding project details and progress.
- Manage project budgets, resources allocation, and timelines effectively.
- Review technical documentation and make necessary project adjustments.
- Resolve design and development problems throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical advice and support to various engineering teams.
- Participate in field inspections to ensure construction meets quality standards.
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports for management review and approval.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two years of experience in civil or structural engineering.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or in pursuit of licensing.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and project management.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills suitable for coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
