Shuraa is hiring on behalf of a client operating in the contracting, interior design, and construction industry. The client is looking for an experienced and presentable Civil Engineer to join their team.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise interior fit-out, renovation, and construction projects from execution through completion.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor site progress, quality of work, materials, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review drawings, technical documents, and project requirements and coordinate with relevant teams for execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure works are completed according to required standards, timelines, and specifications.
- Identify and resolve site-related technical issues, delays, and coordination challenges.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports, and relevant site records.
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, health and safety requirements, and applicable authority regulations.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities when required and ensure necessary approvals are in place.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in the interiors, fit-out, renovation, or construction industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a relevant engineering qualification.
- Dubai Municipality (DM) approved engineer along with a valid G+1 License
- Good communication skills – Fluency in English
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and construction practices, site execution, and project coordination.
- Presentable, professional, and confident when dealing with clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
- Valid UAE driver’s license
