Trading & Operations Manager

Responsibilities
- Execute and support daily trading activity across client portfolios
- Oversee investment operations for multiple investment vehicles, including separately managed accounts (SMAs)
- Manage trade settlement, cash movements, account activity, and portfolio rebalancing
- Coordinate with custodians, brokers, counterparties, and external service providers
- Support operational due diligence requests and investor reporting initiatives
- Monitor operational controls and identify opportunities to improve workflows and scalability
- Partner closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and process enhancements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in trading operations, investment operations, middle office, or related functions
- Experience in asset management, hedge funds, family offices, or investment advisory firms
- Experience supporting institutional investment products and/or separately managed accounts
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, investment operations, and cash management
- Equity trading experience required
- Experience working with custodians, prime brokers, and investment service providers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting hedge funds and separately managed account platforms
- Familiarity with order management and portfolio management systems
- Experience participating in operational due diligence (ODD) meetings or institutional investor requests
- Desire to grow into a broader leadership role
