Ingredion in Dubai is looking for a Technologist with NPD and Customer Management expience to support the Go-to-market team!

As a Technical Services Technologist you will have w ell-developed knowledge and skills for technical support. Proficient in applying established professional technical and administrative disciplines.

This role reports to the Area Sales Manager Middle East

What you will do:

• Be the technical point of contact for assigned customers and provide comprehensive technical support throughout the innovation process
• Conduct application trials involving formulation and process development
• Organize visits to/ from customers to the Ingredion Idea Labs (planning trials meetings and venue).
• Develop strong relationships across the technical and commercial teams.
• Documents technical work centrally and communicates project results internally as well as externally to customers.
• Evaluation of customer and competitor portfolio to gain insights and share knowledge with the team

What you will bring:

• Degree or equivalent in Food Technology or Food Engineering or other relevant discipline
• Experience in a Technical Service NPD or Applications team in specialty food ingredients.
• Experience of supporting and leading small projects delivering product innovation and proven track record of technically supporting customers in the food industry
• Fluent in English (verbal & written)
• Fluent in Arabic would be a plus
• Ability to travel within the region up to 40% of the working time
