Your Mission

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Events & Auto Shows Manager based in Dubai to lead the planning and execution of major automotive events across the Middle East.

This role will be responsible for delivering high-impact vehicle launches, regional and international motor shows, brand events, media and VIP experiences, dealer conferences, test-drive events and other major offline activations for BYD, DENZA and YANGWANG.

Given the importer and dealer-led business model across many Middle East markets, this role requires strong capability in working closely with local importers and dealer marketing teams, while ensuring that regional executions remain aligned with global brand strategy and standards.

You will act as a key bridge between HQ, the regional team, local importers/dealers, agencies and external partners, taking ownership of projects from initial concept and planning through production, execution and post-event evaluation.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Major Vehicle Launches: Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of major new vehicle launches for BYD, DENZA and YANGWANG across the Middle East, including concept development, venue selection, production, vehicle reveal, guest experience, media activities, VIP engagement and on-site execution.

· Motor Shows & Exhibitions: Lead BYD Group’s participation in major regional and international motor shows, exhibitions and industry events, overseeing stand concepts, vehicle display strategy, customer experience, operational planning and on-site delivery.

· Regional Event Strategy: Develop and manage the regional events calendar in alignment with product launch plans, brand priorities and key commercial milestones across Middle East markets.

· Importer & Dealer Collaboration: Work closely with local importers, distributors and dealer marketing teams to jointly plan and execute market-level events, providing regional guidance while ensuring strong local execution and consistency with global brand standards.

· Premium Brand Experience: Create differentiated event experiences appropriate to the positioning of each brand – from mass-premium BYD events to high-end luxury experiences for DENZA and YANGWANG – ensuring every customer, media and VIP touchpoint reflects the intended brand positioning.

· End-to-End Event Management: Own the full event lifecycle, including briefing, creative concept, budgeting, venue sourcing, production, AV and technical setup, vehicle logistics, guest management, hospitality, entertainment, test drives and on-site operations.

· Agency & Supplier Management: Lead agency selection, briefing, tendering, negotiation and management of event production companies and specialist suppliers across the Middle East, ensuring high execution quality, competitive costs and timely delivery.

· Automotive Event Operations: Manage automotive-specific operational requirements, including vehicle transportation, customs coordination where required, vehicle preparation, charging infrastructure, insurance, test-drive routes, display requirements and reveal logistics.

· Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Regional and HQ teams across Marketing, PR, Product, Sales and Dealer Network, ensuring events support broader business objectives and deliver integrated media, social and customer engagement opportunities.

· Budget & ROI Management: Manage event budgets with rigorous cost control, procurement compliance and post-event evaluation, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize brand and business impact.

· Quality & Brand Governance: Ensure all event concepts, creative assets, venue branding, vehicle displays and customer experiences comply with BYD Group and individual brand guidelines, maintaining consistent execution standards across different markets and importer partners.

Key Results

· Successfully deliver major BYD, DENZA and YANGWANG vehicle launches across Middle East markets on time, on budget and to global brand standards.

· Establish a consistently high standard of execution across regional motor shows, exhibitions and major brand events.

· Build an effective working model between the regional team and local importers/dealers, improving event planning efficiency and execution quality across markets.

· Deliver differentiated and premium event experiences that strengthen the positioning of BYD, DENZA and YANGWANG.

· Maintain strong control of event budgets while improving cost efficiency and supplier performance.

· Develop a reliable network of high-quality event agencies, production partners, venues and specialist suppliers across key Middle East markets.

· Generate measurable brand, media, customer engagement and commercial impact from major regional events.

What You Bring

· 8+ years of proven experience in automotive event management, ideally within an automotive OEM, premium/luxury automotive brand, importer/distributor group, or leading automotive events agency.

· Strong track record of independently managing large-scale vehicle launches, motor shows and high-profile automotive events from concept through execution.

· Solid understanding of the Middle East automotive market, with experience working across GCC and/or wider Middle East markets strongly preferred.

· Experience working with importers, distributors and dealer organizations, with the ability to influence and coordinate multiple local stakeholders without direct reporting lines.

· Strong knowledge of the regional events ecosystem, including agencies, venues, production suppliers, AV/technical partners, hospitality providers and automotive logistics.

· Strong understanding of 360° event production, including creative development, technical production, staging, vehicle reveals, guest journeys and on-site operations.

· Experience in premium or luxury brand events is highly desirable, particularly for candidates who will support DENZA and YANGWANG.

· Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects across different countries simultaneously.

· Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with proven experience managing large event budgets and external suppliers.

· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English; Arabic or other regional languages are an advantage.

· Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently across the Middle East and internationally according to launch and event schedules.

· University degree in Marketing, Communications, Events, Public Relations, Business or a related field.
