Are you an experienced Aftermarket Sales Engineer with a background in industrial equipment and technical sales? Al-Futtaim Automotive – FAMCO is looking for a motivated professional to join its Power & Industrial Products Division in Dubai, United Arab Emirates .

This position is ideal for candidates with expertise in aftermarket sales, compressed air systems, industrial equipment, and customer account management . You will play a key role in growing service and spare parts sales, developing long-term customer relationships, and delivering technical solutions for clients across the Oil & Gas, manufacturing, construction, and industrial sectors .

Key Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by promoting aftermarket services, spare parts, and maintenance solutions.
• Manage and develop relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for equipment overhauls, repairs, and maintenance services.
• Develop customized service solutions for winches, hoists, compressed air systems, and industrial equipment.
• Manage the complete sales process, including customer meetings, quotations, negotiations, order processing, and project follow-up.
• Ensure customer requirements are delivered on time while maintaining high service quality.
• Build long‑term partnerships with clients in the Oil & Gas and industrial sectors.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
• Work closely with workshop, service, operations, and technical teams to maximize workshop utilization and improve customer satisfaction.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and account development plans.

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems, industrial machinery, and aftermarket service operations.
• Proven experience in aftermarket sales, technical sales, or industrial equipment solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to prepare technical quotations and commercial proposals.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously.
• Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach to achieving sales targets.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering , or a related engineering discipline.
• An MBA or business qualification is considered an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aftermarket sales, industrial equipment servicing, or technical sales.
• Experience working with Oil & Gas , manufacturing, or heavy industrial customers.
• Good knowledge of centrifugal compressors, rotary compressors, lubricated compressors, and compressed air systems.
• Experience managing techno‑commercial contracts and long‑term service agreements.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• UAE or GCC experience in a similar engineering sales role is preferred.
