Business Development Manager, Amazon Fuse MEA

Amazon is currently seeking a dynamic Manager Business Development for Middle East & Africa (MEA) to help both secure new and manage existing distribution partnerships for our consumer subscriptions business across MEA (with a particular focus on Turkey and Saudi Arabia). Drawing on both BD and Account Management skillsets responsibilities of the role would include securing new and optimizing existing strategic distribution partnerships (with Telcos and across other industries) as well as working with internal teams (Product Prime Retail etc.) and partners to develop new business models that unlock long-term growth through partners ecosystems. Managing this exciting and fast-growing portion of the Amazon business will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to fulfill the Amazon motto to Work Hard have Fun and make History.
Key job responsibilitiesAs the Senior Manager Business Development for MEA your responsibilities will include the following:
- Working with internal stakeholder businesses to agree and execute a strategy for country specific business development opportunities
- Own existing strategic partner accounts; fostering senior partner exec relationships leading regular QBRs driving deal optimizations and re-negotiations always cognizant of the interplay with other Amazon departments.
- Lead all partner activity to source and negotiate complex partnership agreements from first contact through to signed contracts in agreed geographies and segments.
- Lead all internal approvals and due diligence including document writing to ensure deals meet the needs of all stakeholders and are approved by the business.
- Coordinate with peripheral Amazon business development teams to leverage established relationships present a unified vision to our partners in MEA and close partnerships that add significant value to the business. - Experience in Go-To-Market Business Development Sales or Consulting
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience developing leading negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions
- Bachelors degree - Experience identifying negotiating and executing complex legal agreements
- Speak write and read fluently in Arabic
