Sales & Support Engineer

1. Sales & Business Development

1.1. Identify and target prospective clients through direct outreach, calling potential customers, visiting exhibitions and industry events, networking, and other business development activities.

1.2. Understand customer requirements, recommend suitable robotics solutions, and conduct product demonstrations and presentations. Prepare quotations and proposals, follow up on leads, sales opportunities, and customer payments, and maintain accurate sales records and documentation.

2. Client Management

2.1. Execute projects secured through sales activities, coordinating with the relevant teams to ensure customer requirements, project scope, timelines, and agreed deliverables are successfully achieved.

2.2. Respond to customer enquiries through phone, WhatsApp/chat, email, and walk-in visits regarding robot purchases, rentals, maintenance, and technical support. Manage customer complaints, after-sales support, and technical tickets by allocating cases to the appropriate team members and following up until resolution.

2.3. Maintain accurate records of customer communication, support activities, pending cases, and actions taken. Provide timely reports, project updates, technical findings, and customer feedback to management.

3. Robot Rental / Sale Setup & Deployment

3.1. Set up and configure robots according to the approved project scope, including software, feed files, announcements, branding, screen content, applications, mapping, navigation, and route settings.

3.2. Test and prepare robots before demonstrations, deliveries, rental projects, and deployments to ensure they meet customer and project requirements.

3.3. Troubleshoot, maintain, update, and carry out basic repairs on company and customer robots remotely, in the robot lab, or at customer premises.

3.4. Manage rental robot deployment, operation, collection, and post-rental inspection, ensuring robots remain in good working condition throughout the project.

3.5. Maintain records of rental robots and related equipment, including chargers, accessories, cables, and cases, and ensure all equipment is ready for upcoming projects.

3.6. Prepare, transport, set up, operate, and manage robots at event venues and project locations while providing required technical and customer support. Work flexible hours and locations depending on project, customer, exhibition, and event requirements.

4. Research & Continuous Learning

4.1. Keep updated with advancements in robotics, AI, automation, new robot models, software platforms, and applications, and assist in testing and improving new robotics solutions.

4.2. Participate in exhibitions, expos, robot demonstrations, Robo CAMPs, robotics championships, internships, and other company events and projects.

Requirements

1.1. Degree or Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Automation, or a related technical field.

1.2. Good understanding of robotics, software, computer hardware, networking, databases, and technical troubleshooting.

1.3. Knowledge of, Microsoft Office, IT hardware, and related technologies, with knowledge in Zoho CRM, Zoho Finance/Books, Zoho Desk, Zoho CRM Plus, or similar platforms considered an advantage.

1.4. Strong sales, customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with professional phone, email, WhatsApp/chat, and face-to-face etiquette.

1.5. Ability to understand customer requirements, recommend suitable solutions, and confidently conduct robot demonstrations and presentations.

1.6. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and provide timely reports and feedback.

1.7. This is a hybrid position involving work from home, office/showroom duties, customer-site support, rental deployments, events, and project locations. Must be willing to work flexible hours and locations and travel to customer or project sites for demonstrations, deployments, maintenance, and technical support.

1.9. A valid UAE driving licence would be an advantage. Residence Visa or Self Sponsor Visa is a must
