QA/QC Inspector (Fit-out)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector to join our Fit-Out team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all fit-out works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable UAE regulations. The role involves close coordination with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and quality across luxury residential, hospitality, retail, and mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of fit-out works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Inspect architectural and interior works including drywall, ceilings, flooring, joinery, marble, painting, doors, partitions, wall finishes, and other fit-out activities.
• Review approved shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Raise and follow up on Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and site observations.
• Verify that materials delivered to site comply with approved specifications and consultant requirements.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure installation activities are carried out according to approved methods and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.
• Prepare quality reports, inspection records, checklists, and maintain QA/QC documentation.
• Participate in snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with project quality plans, UAE regulations, consultant requirements, and HSE standards.
• Identify potential quality risks and recommend preventive and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in interior fit-out projects within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, construction methods, and quality control procedures.
• Experience in luxury residential, hospitality, retail, or commercial fit-out projects is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of ITPs, MIRs, IRs, NCRs, method statements, and snagging processes.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and consultant approval processes.
• Strong attention to detail, reporting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
