About the Role
OMA Emirates is looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in payment solutions, banking/FinTech, and business development , with a proven track record of developing strategic partnerships and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the banking, FinTech, and payments sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, merchants, and strategic partners.
- Promote and develop payment solutions and related financial technology products.
- Manage the complete business development cycle from lead generation through negotiation and closing.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and commercial agreements.
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging payment technologies.
- Work closely with internal teams including product, technology, operations, and compliance.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide regular business development reports.
- Negotiate commercial terms and develop long-term strategic partnerships.
Key Requirements
- 7–12 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Banking, FinTech, Payments, or Financial Services.
- Strong hands-on experience in Payment Solutions .
- Proven track record in business development and achieving commercial targets.
- Strong understanding of the UAE banking and payments ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking.
- Ability to develop and manage senior-level client and partner relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
