Senior Communications & Content Specialist for Siemens Middle East

Job Summary

Siemens Middle East is seeking a dynamic and experienced Content & Communications Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications Team. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Communications, this role is pivotal in shaping our narrative across the region, working closely with Digital, Business Marketing, and Country Communications Teams.

What you'll do:

As our Senior Content & Communications Specialist, you will be a master storyteller, crafting compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Content Creation (English & Arabic):

• Produce high-quality, original content in both English and Arabic across diverse formats, including articles, op-eds, press releases, case studies, social media, newsletters, and internal communications.
• Translate complex technical subjects into engaging narratives for senior audiences, collaborating with subject matter experts.
• Develop multimedia content briefs, including video scripts and visual specifications, in partnership with our digital team.

2. Executive & Thought Leadership Communications:

• Provide comprehensive communications support for senior executives, drafting briefing packs, key messages, talking points, and Q&A for interviews, panels, and speaking engagements.
• Craft compelling social media content for executive profiles, aligning with our thought leadership strategy.
• Develop executive presentations, speeches, and remarks, and coordinate all logistics and content preparation for executive profiling activities.
• Support media engagement by preparing media materials (e.g., press releases, media kits) and coordinating interview logistics and responses.
• Research industry trends and market developments to inform our thought leadership pipeline and draft impactful content (op-eds, bylined articles)

3. Editorial & Content Operations

• Manage content workflows, ensuring timely production, review, and publication aligned with our regional editorial calendar and brand standards.
• Uphold Siemens' editorial guidelines, tone, accuracy, and narrative architecture across all content.
• Coordinate with agency partners and internal stakeholders for content development and approvals.

4. Digital & Social Media Content

• Optimize and adapt content for various digital platforms (website, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube), applying SEO/AEO principles for maximum discoverability.
• Monitor content performance, leveraging insights to enhance engagement and reach in partnership with the Digital Communications team.
• Stay ahead of digital trends, proactively bringing innovative ideas to the team.

5. Cross-Functional & Event Support

• Partner with business communications colleagues to source stories, customer references, and technical expertise for content development
• Support event communications - pre-event promotion, on-site content capture briefs, and post-event reporting
• Assist with internal communications content as needed (employee stories, leadership messages, transformation communications)
• Coordinate with country communications colleagues on content localization and regional alignment

What you'll bring:

• Experience: 5+ years in communications, content, journalism, or editorial roles, preferably within a corporate, agency, or B2B environment.
• Bilingual Fluency: Exceptional professional writing and editing skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to produce original, publication-ready content in both languages.
• Versatile Writer: Proven ability to write effectively across diverse formats and for various audiences, from executive talking points to long-form thought leadership.
• Digital Savvy: Hands-on experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram) and content management systems, with working knowledge of SEO, analytics, and content performance metrics.
• Strategic Thinker: Strong research skills and the ability to translate complex topics into compelling narratives.
• Collaborative & Organized: Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple deliverables and working effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

Bonus Points for:

• Experience in B2B technology, energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
• Familiarity with social media management platforms (e.g., Sprinklr), CRM/newsletter tools, or AI-assisted content workflows.
• Regional market knowledge (GCC/MENA).
• Experience with executive profiling or CEO communications programs.
