Senior Team Lead - Air & Sea Logistics

Responsibilities:

1. Handling and monitoring the team.
2. Ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the yard by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
3. Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of materials and supplies needed for yard operations.
4. Managing yard logistics, including organizing storage and space utilization of materials and goods.
5. Keeping accurate records and documentation of yard activities, including inventory and equipment maintenance.
6. Weekend and holidays planning and ensuring team availability.
7. Sending the daily activities report to manager.
8. Monitoring general yard maintenance.
9. Conducting weekly meeting to evaluate the performance of department.
10. Updating daily reports related to operation.
11. Managing the inspections of equipment for operating deficiencies and carrying out repairs.
12. Ensuring that the team does the proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
13. Ensuring that the team follows the safety rules and regulations.
14. Managing total task in hand, completion date and work under progress.
15. Performing any other tasks that may be assigned by the manager from time to time to meet business exigencies.

Qualifications & Characteristics:

Education – Bachelor degree

Work Experience –  5 years of experience in managing open yard facilities

Specific Skills –

• Bilingual is preferable
• Communication Skills (Spoken and Written)
• Planning Skills and Team Management skills
• Organization Skills
• Problem Solving Skills
• Technical Knowledge
