Role Overview
Our client is a leading financial institution in the UAE, is looking for a VP level Head of HR Business Partner to lead HR's strategic partnership with the business. This role sits at the center of HR advisory and business solutions, ensuring the HRBP function delivers integrated, high-quality support that meets both short and long-term business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, deploying effective HR advisory and services that support the organization's growth and development.
- Lead and manage the HR Business Partner team, ensuring they have the resources, tools, and processes to deliver high-quality, agile HR support to the business.
- Provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders on complex HR matters, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Partner with HR Centres of Excellence to deploy business enablers within agreed turnaround times, supporting continuous growth.
- Present business needs, justifications, and HR recommendations on critical and complex initiatives to HR leadership for decision-making.
- Track market intelligence and trends to shape bespoke HR strategic projects and implement best-in-class practices, positioning the organization as an employer of choice.
- Ensure compliance with approved policies, procedures, SLAs, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risk and uphold quality standards.
- Review team performance against agreed KPIs to ensure objectives are met.
- Coach, train, and develop the team by identifying learning needs and assigning the right development pathways.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience, with significant exposure in a strategic HR Business Partnering capacity.
- Excellent leadership qualities, with proven experience managing and developing a team (minimum team of 4).
- Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to build relationships and partner effectively with senior business stakeholders.
- Broad exposure across various HR domains, including involvement in related HR committees.
- Banking sector experience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated experience translating business needs into HR strategy and solutions.
