Head of Mobile
Remotedxb
Responsibilities
- Own the mobile product and roadmap for 500,000+ users
- Write code and make major architectural decisions
- Solve complex engineering problems related to VoIP and telephony
- Integrate real-time communication tools
- Support backend APIs and services to power the mobile experience
- Balance startup speed with consumer app stability
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the US
- Deep mobile experience with 6+ years building and releasing iOS and Android apps
- Significant experience with React Native and cross-platform development
- Expertise in native development using Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Objective-C
- Proven VoIP knowledge (SIP, WebRTC, or similar) and experience handling call quality/carrier constraints
- Full-stack flexibility to work with backend APIs
- Pragmatic approach to engineering and shipping fast
- Strong ownership mentality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building apps for international markets and handling localization
- Experience in early-stage startup environments
- Background in CPaaS or telecom industries
