IT Support Officer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Officer to join our growing IT team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support across the organisation, ensuring users receive responsive, high-quality IT support while maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our IT environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Microsoft technologies experience, particularly Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server administration , who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to users across multiple locations.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user account issues both remotely and on site.

• Manage endpoint deployment, configuration, compliance, and lifecycle using Microsoft Intune .

• Administer Microsoft 365 user accounts, licences, groups, and access permissions.

• Manage Windows File Servers, shared folders, storage resources, and NTFS permissions.

• Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning and account management.

• Maintain endpoint security, software updates, and patch management.

• Support printers, peripherals, and general IT infrastructure.

• Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset records, and support reports.

• Contribute to IT projects and continuous service improvement initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 3–5 years of experience in IT Support, Service Desk, or Desktop Support.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 , Active Directory, and Windows Server administration.

• Experience managing Windows File Servers, shared folders, and permissions.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and end-user support.

• Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
