The company is currently seeking a skilled Database Masking Specialist to join its data security and technology team. The role involves working closely with database administrators, developers, data architects, and analysts to ensure sensitive information is properly identified, protected, and masked in compliance with global data privacy standards.

This position plays a key role in strengthening data privacy frameworks and supporting secure technology infrastructure across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze sensitive data (PII, SPI, PHI) using data discovery tools

• Perform data masking across databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and flat file systems

• Apply data privacy standards and compliance requirements including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and SOC frameworks

• Design and implement data masking solutions using IBM InfoSphere Optim and related tools

• Map sensitive data elements with appropriate masking algorithms and techniques

• Develop reusable data masking and test data management components

• Collaborate with application teams to define data privacy fields and masking requirements

• Understand database structures including relationships, constraints, and dependencies

• Work with Entity Relationship (ER) diagrams for relational database systems

• Ensure proper validation, syntax handling, and data type integrity in masking processes

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in data masking and privacy solutions

• Experience with IBM InfoSphere Optim Data Privacy Tool (design, development, deployment, optimization)

• At least 1 year of experience with Infosphere Optim Unstructured Data

• Experience with IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer

• Strong understanding of database architecture and relational data models

• Ability to work with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and similar databases

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

• Self-driven with the ability to manage both independent and collaborative tasks

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Oracle Data Masking Tool
