Senior Officer - Housekeeping

We are seeking an experienced Senior Officer – Housekeeping to oversee housekeeping operations within a healthcare environment. The role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, infection prevention, safety, vendor performance, and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare infection prevention and control (IPC) and safety requirements.
- Monitor housekeeping vendors and evaluate service quality against agreed KPIs and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality assessments.
- Identify service gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Supervise, coach, and develop housekeeping teams.
- Monitor cleaning procedures, materials, equipment, and service standards.
- Coordinate with healthcare and facility teams to resolve housekeeping-related issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-focused environment.
- Prepare operational reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma in Hospitality, Facilities Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field .
- 5+ years of housekeeping experience , preferably within a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Previous supervisory or senior-level experience is required.
