Reporting to the Assistant Front Office Manager, the Bell Person supports guest arrivals, departures, luggage handling, and guest assistance throughout InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay.

You will be responsible for ensuring every guest receives attentive, professional, and efficient assistance from arrival through departure.

Your Day-to-Day

No two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Guest Arrival & Departure

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
• Assist with luggage handling, storage, and delivery.
• Escort guests to guestrooms and residences.
• Explain room features, hotel facilities, and available services.
• Assist guests during departures with luggage and transportation arrangements.

Guest Service

• Respond promptly to guest requests and enquiries.
• Provide directions and information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Arrange transportation assistance when required.
• Deliver guest items, messages, amenities, and packages efficiently.
• Anticipate guest needs and personalise service whenever possible.

Operational Support

• Coordinate with Front Office regarding arrivals, departures, VIP guests, and room readiness.
• Support Concierge operations during busy periods.
• Ensure luggage storage areas remain organised and secure.
• Maintain accurate luggage handling procedures and records.

Safety & Security

• Handle guest belongings with care and professionalism.
• Follow hotel security procedures for luggage storage and deliveries.
• Report lost and found items promptly.
• Maintain awareness of safety procedures and emergency protocols.

Property Presentation

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby entrance, luggage areas, and bell desk.
• Ensure luggage carts and equipment remain clean and in excellent condition.
• Present a professional appearance in line with brand standards.

What We Need From You

Ideally, you bring some (or all) of the following qualifications and experience:

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality qualification is an advantage.

Experience

• Previous experience in Front Office, Concierge, Bell Services, or Guest Services preferred.
• Experience in luxury or upscale hotels is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Dubai attractions and local destinations is beneficial.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage (if operationally required).
