IT Help Desk Specialist
Company Name – Octa Tech
Location – Dubai
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Log all support interactions and document solutions in the help desk ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT personnel for resolution.
- Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
- Assist with user account management, including account creation, password resets, and permissions management.
- Conduct user training and provide guidance on using IT systems and applications.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve systems and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in IT Help Desk or Technical Support.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Candidates must be currently based in the UAE.
