VP, Retention & LTV

Responsibilities
- Own long-term customer LTV as the core KPI, setting lifecycle and retention strategy
- Operationalize personalization and segmentation across channels
- Embed AI into flows, reporting, and creative generation to multiply team output
- Lead and develop a team of three specialized marketing professionals
- Test and scale new 1:1 channels including Direct Mail, Instagram DM, and WhatsApp
- Partner with Ecommerce, CX, Performance, and Brand teams
- Support subscription and loyalty strategy, acting as a thought partner for cancel-flow and save-strategy work
Requirements
- 12+ years in retention, lifecycle, loyalty, or subscriber marketing
- 5+ years of leadership experience with at least one Director-level direct report
- Senior leadership experience (VP or Sr. Director) at a high-growth subscription DTC business
- Quantifiable track record of moving LTV or retention metrics at scale
- Deep fluency in subscription mechanics (SKIO, Recharge, Ordergroove)
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo and Postscript
- Proven experience using AI in production to automate workflows or personalization
- Experience building or scaling loyalty and membership programs
