Stewarding Supervisor
Do you have a heart to serve and enjoy leading a dedicated team behind the scenes? As a Stewarding Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment, supporting the success of our Food & Beverage operations and guest satisfaction.

What is in it for you:

• Supervise the daily operations of the Stewarding department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene are maintained across all food and beverage outlets, kitchens, and back-of-house areas.
• Lead, train, coach, and motivate the stewarding team, ensuring efficient manpower utilization and continuous development of team members.
• Coordinate and monitor the cleaning of kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and operating equipment to support smooth Food & Beverage operations.
• Ensure all stewarding activities comply with company policies, HACCP standards, hygiene regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, storage areas, and waste disposal areas to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency.
• Manage stewarding schedules and resource planning to support business demands, including high-volume operations, banquets, and special events.
• Oversee the proper handling, storage, and inventory of operating equipment, minimizing breakage and loss.
• Work closely with the culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure operational requirements are met and service standards are consistently delivered.
• Monitor chemical usage and cleaning procedures, ensuring all team members are trained on the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Ensure waste management and recycling practices are followed in line with company and environmental standards.
• Support the team during busy operational periods and lead by example to maintain a positive and productive working environment.
• Assist in controlling departmental costs while ensuring the availability of all necessary equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Stewarding Supervisor role or similar leadership position within a hotel or large-scale Food & Beverage operation.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, food safety, and HACCP standards.
• Experience managing stewarding operations in a busy hotel environment, including restaurants, banquet facilities, and kitchen operations.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a multicultural team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest cleanliness and safety standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Hands-on approach with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing business requirements.
