Education
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical or Electrical trade
Experience Required
- Minimum 4–5 years of warehouse experience
- FMCG warehouse experience is preferred
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of international warehouse procedures and systems
- Experience operating a forklift and Reach Truck
- Knowledge of Counterbalance Forklift
- Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift experience is an advantage
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Experience using RF Scanner / RF Gun
- Inventory counting and reconciliation
- Goods receiving, picking, and loading
- Ability to accurately record weights and quantities
Key Responsibilities
Forklift Operations
- Safely operate forklifts and reach trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack,k and count merchandise.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Receive goods, record quantities and weights, and store them in designated locations.
- Operate forklifts efficiently to meet daily warehouse requirements.
- Inspect and maintain forklift cleanliness and safety.
Blending Area Operations
- Move tea from sorting areas to storage racks.
- Transfer tea from storage racks to blending lines.
- Weigh each pallet and accurately record the weight on the checklist.
- Conduct random weight checks of flavors.
- Tally initial quantities and immediately report discrepancies to the supervisor.
Loading & Inventory
- Ensure goods being loaded are free from damage and accurately counted.
- Pick goods accurately according to required documents.
- Conduct cycle counts and scheduled inventory checks.
- Ensure physical inventory matches system records.
- Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, excess quantities, or damaged goods.
- Complete all warehouse activities accurately and within required timeframes.
Container Inspection & Receiving
- Inspect containers before loading goods.
- Receive items using an RF Gun/Scanner .
- Verify received goods against the packing list.
- Check goods for damage and ensure quantities are accurate.
- Ensure proper handling and documentation of all warehouse materials.
Safety & Compliance
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely, including in very narrow aisles .
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and technical regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized,d and safe working environment.
- Follow GMP, ISO, QMS, HACCP, 5S, Food Safety, ty and Work Safety standards.
- Follow Pest Control standards and Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements.
- Support continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives.
Cost Reduction
- Handle materials carefully to minimize wastage and damage.
- Protect company assets and equipment.
- Contribute to reducing warehouse operating costs.
- Use utilities and materials efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and productivity.
